R13.30: Fuji Super Tuesdays 8/20 - Stagiares

As can be expected writing this so late, I don't really remember much of what happened, but let's see what we can glean from the results sheet.  It looks like this is the week that Brean showed up.

Well, to start I warmed up.  Here's my warm up:

The first race was a 20 lap points race.  Brean won this guy pretty handily.  He would go for an early attack and hold it across the line.  I took the second place points.

Next was a miss and out.  I was able to stay in until the 5th place elimination.

Finally for the Stagiares was a 10 lap snowball.  I managed 33 points, which I think was by going off the front near the middle of the race and holding it until near the end.  Something along those lines.  It was enough for the win.

The Feature race this week was a 10km final.  I played the roll of pack fodder, possibly dropping out.  One of these races I got gapped too many times.

I ended up in first for the Stagiares omnium.  Brean was in 5th.  Good job, everybody!

EDIT: I also realize this is the week that Marty came over and invited me to race Friday night.  Naturally, I felt gleeful like a little school girl, and then told him I'd have to check with work.  I wasn't able to get off from work.  Boo.
